In 2011, I first took photos of the Settlements within The West Bank and Israel, since then I have returned to shoot more  within the settlements. What I found was mostly everyday life, the settlers I came across did not get into the politics  so much, but rather were eager to share their lives. Often, it seemed to me the people I met that choose to live in settlements, lived there for economic reasons more than anything else.  The security  checkpoints and soliders where the most obvious, and almost the only notable difference from the suburbs of America.
